The ISR 706 is a nice choice for pitching small iron or live bait to small tuna, yellowtail or calico bass if you’re a West Coast angler. Right Coasters will find it well suited for albacore, stripers, small grouper or cobia. It is lightweight in every sense of the word, but surprisingly powerful. It is rated for 12 to 25-pound test line and lures up to 1 ½ ounces.

This is an extremely fast-action spinning rod designed to fish light-duty spinner rigs and bottom bouncers like the Lindy rig, especially where clear water demands the use of light line. Specially designed as a deep-water spinning rod, the ISR 763 excels at fishing small leadhead jigs, tube jigs and small to medium crankbaits. The 7’6” length extends the angler’s casting range and provides a much better hook set in deep water. This rod has plenty of power for bigger fish, but it is also very forgiving, thanks to its moderate action. You aren’t apt to lose fish when they are hooked a long way off or going crazy right at the boat. It also makes a top-notch rod for ripping minnow-style lures.
