Mahon is the capital city of Menorca and it’s one of its prettiest! (Albeit, perhaps even more so in the sunshine).

We visited late in the evening when the skies had turned a bit grey (thankfully, we had sunshine in the afternoon for our boat ride) but the greys didn’t take away from the city’s charm.

You see, Mahon is still quite a pretty place to visit; sunshine or cloudy.

We pretty much just hit the streets san plans, soaking up the sights as we went along. Being in the Balearics, Mahon is still pretty warm, even in early spring so despite the disappearance of sunshine, it was still very much shorts and shirts weather.

Leaving the museum (and by this time, realizing we were absolutely ravenous), we made our way over to the fish market which was just about to close as we arrived.

Thankfully, it was still open to sneak in a quick pre-dinner snack (and a cheeky sangria).

It almost goes without saying, there’s nothing quite like freshly caught produce for delicious meals).
