Where We Stayed In Gdansk, Poland

I’ve gotta give credit to Lloyd for finding this gem! He and Georgia pored the internet for hours before coming up with this place.

He found it on Airbnb and although he went on and on about how he’d come up with a brilliant find. I was so preoccupied with so many other things that I didn’t even get the opportunity to look at the pictures of the place before we arrived. All I knew was that we had a place to stay.

We left London for Gdansk late on a Friday evening which meant we didn’t get to the apartment till it was a tad late. Once we arrived, I finally understood why Lloyd was as pleased as punch about finding this place.

It had so much space (which any Londoner will tell you is a BIG deal), was located in an old building (hence the high roofs – which I love) and had just been refurbished so it had some pretty new and shiny mod-cons. I like shiny new places.

In retrospect, it was also rather minimalist – which I like a lot!

After a long and busy week in London, it’s safe to say we were pleased as punch to find this place. Have you ever been pleasantly surprised by a place you’ve stayed in?
