A delightfully powerful 7’11” one-piece rod for light-duty surf and breaker fishing. It is the perfect rod for summer and fall surf action for school bass, small blues and weakfish, but don’t let the light-duty part fool you. It handles light metal exceptionally well and has more than enough power in the butt-section to handle larger fish. Specially designed as a deep-water spinning rod, the ISR 763 excels at fishing small leadhead jigs, tube jigs and small to medium crankbaits. The 7’6” length extends the angler’s casting range and provides a much better hook set in deep water. This rod has plenty of power for bigger fish, but it is also very forgiving, thanks to its moderate action. You aren’t apt to lose fish when they are hooked a long way off or going crazy right at the boat. It also makes a top-notch rod for ripping minnow-style lures.
